Over the years, Michael’s work has garnered significant recognition, including the "Spirit Award" for his short film Covid Éire at the IFTA & BAFTA Qualifying IndieCork Film Festival in 2020. His 2022 film, Like A Bolt From The Blue was shortlisted for Best Drama at the 2023 AAHFF New York Premiere at AMC Theaters in Times Square.
